Description:Vivo Pakistan is looking for a motivated Intern Maintenance Engineer to join its maintenance and after-sales service team. This entry-level role is ideal for fresh graduates or students in advanced semesters of electrical engineering who want to build their technical skills and gain hands-on experience in mobile phone repair and customer service. The position focuses on diagnosing and fixing technical faults in mobile phones, working alongside experienced engineers to enhance troubleshooting abilities. It requires strong analytical thinking, a passion for learning, and effective communication to provide excellent support to customers regarding repair updates and technical solutions. The Intern Maintenance Engineer works independently as well as collaboratively with service consultants and internal teams to maintain high standards of service quality and process efficiency. The role demands diligent documentation of repair work and active participation in identifying common technical issues that can inform improvements. While it does not involve team management responsibilities, the position offers a dynamic environment where the candidate can develop important operational and professional skills, contributing to the success of Vivo Pakistan’s maintenance services.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process mobile phones from customers or distributors for repair and maintenance efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical faults under the guidance of senior maintenance engineers to build expertise.
- Study technical manuals, product specifications, and documentation regularly to enhance repair proficiency.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers about repair status, service procedures, and technical solutions.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns to ensure a positive service experience.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of all repair and service activities to track workflow and quality.
- Assist in identifying recurring technical problems and provide feedback to engineering teams for process improvement.
- Support service consultants during peak workloads or their absence to ensure continuous customer support.
- Collaborate effectively with various internal departments to promote service quality, operational efficiency, and process optimization.
- Carry out additional tasks or responsibilities assigned by management to support overall maintenance operations.

- B.S Electrical Engineering Fresh graduates or students enrolled in 4th semester and above can also apply.
