Knox Solar Pvt Ltd is seeking a dedicated Inventory Controller with a minimum of 10 years of experience to oversee and manage inventory processes effectively. The ideal candidate is a retired army officer with expertise in inventory management and supply chain coordination. This role involves leading a team of 8 personnel to maintain accurate stock levels, optimize storage and distribution, and ensure seamless integration with ERP systems to improve operational efficiency and support the company’s growth initiatives. The Inventory Controller is responsible for managing inventory control systems, coordinating with suppliers and internal departments, and implementing best practices to prevent stock discrepancies. The candidate must utilize strong organizational skills and military experience to enhance inventory accuracy and reliability, contributing to the smooth delivery of materials across the supply chain. The role demands excellent leadership capabilities to guide the team and drive continuous improvement in inventory operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 8 inventory staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure effective operations.
- Develop and implement inventory control processes and procedures that align with company policies and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and reconciling discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and supply chain teams to synchronize inventory flows and optimize stock availability.
- Utilize ERP systems to track inventory movements, generate reports, and forecast demand, ensuring data integrity and operational transparency.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Analyze inventory trends and make recommendations for stock adjustments, reordering schedules, and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to enhance supply chain efficiency and resolve inventory-related issues.
- Apply military discipline and organizational skills gained as a retired army officer to manage inventory challenges effectively.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline inventory processes, reduce waste, and increase cost efficiency.
