Description:Crescent Bahuman Limited is seeking a dedicated Weaving Quality Control Officer with at least three years of experience to join and lead a team of 10 professionals. This role focuses on ensuring the highest standards of fabric quality throughout the weaving process by conducting thorough inspections and testing. The successful candidate will play a critical role in monitoring weaving operations, identifying defects, and implementing corrective measures in coordination with production and maintenance teams to maintain fabric integrity and consistency. The Weaving Quality Control Officer oversees daily quality assessments of woven fabrics, verifies specifications for each new fabric, and conducts yarn testing to evaluate performance at the looms. The position requires a proactive approach in identifying mechanical, electrical, and production problems affecting fabric quality and coordinating prompt resolution. By conducting inline audits on all running looms, this officer guarantees adherence to quality standards and drives continuous improvement within the weaving department.
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed specification checks on each newly produced fabric to confirm compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor warp contraction and weft consumption closely to ensure optimal fabric quality and resource utilization.
- Conduct daily inspections of woven fabric to detect any defects or inconsistencies early in the production process.
- Test yarn performance at looms, assessing its strength, durability, and suitability for the weaving process.
- Identify weaving defects through comprehensive fabric inspection and categorize defects for proper documentation and resolution.
- Highlight and report mechanical, electrical, and production issues impacting fabric quality, collaborating with relevant teams to implement solutions.
- Lead inline quality audits on all running looms to ensure continuous adherence to quality benchmarks and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and guide a team of 10 quality control personnel, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
- Maintain accurate quality records and prepare reports summarizing inspection outcomes and corrective actions taken.
- Coordinate with weaving, maintenance, and production departments to support process improvements aimed at minimizing fabric defects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality assurance protocols throughout the weaving quality control operations.
- Train team members on quality control techniques, defect identification, and proper testing procedures to enhance overall team effectiveness.
