Description:Crescent Bahuman Limited is seeking a dedicated Officer PD Sewing to oversee the production planning and control activities related to the sewing department. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in production planning, workforce management, and process improvement, with a strong focus on ensuring efficient material handling and capacity planning. This role requires expertise in production scheduling and familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, the Officer PD Sewing will be responsible for managing a team of 10 persons, guiding them towards meeting production targets and maintaining high-quality standards. The Officer PD Sewing will handle critical tasks such as the preparation of Excel Bills of Materials (BOMs), feeding BOM data into the D365 ERP system, creating item codes within the ERP, and preparing specifications and technical documents necessary for smooth production workflows. This role demands proficiency in handling ERP systems and precise documentation skills to support manufacturing operations and process optimization within the sewing division.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage Excel Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accurate production data.
- Input BOM information into the D365 ERP system accurately and timely.
- Create and maintain item codes within the D365 ERP to support inventory and production tracking.
- Develop and maintain detailed specifications and technical documents for sewing production.
- Plan and schedule sewing production activities to optimize capacity and meet deadlines.
- Manage a team of 10 personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
- Implement workforce management strategies to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
- Conduct process improvements using Six Sigma principles to reduce waste and improve quality.
- Coordinate material handling and ensure timely availability of raw materials for production.
- Monitor capacity planning to balance workloads and prevent bottlenecks in sewing operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to align production plans and resolve operational issues.
- Track and report production progress, addressing any delays or deviations promptly.
- Maintain compliance with company quality standards and safety regulations throughout the production process.
